Associate Attorney
Shaw & Murphy, PLLC is a general practice law firm that provides high-quality legal services to individuals and businesses. Based in Ithaca, NY and providing services to Tompkins and six surrounding counties, we seek associate attorney candidates with experience in two or more of the following areas: real estate, estate planning, litigation (criminal or civil), matrimonial, business, and/or Greek/Campus life. Qualified candidates should have 2-5 years of experience and be admitted to the NYS bar.

Our associate should generate high quality work (about 30 billable hours/week) across diverse practice areas. The candidate will be expected to have or develop skills to litigate criminal, civil and appellate matters, handle real estate, estate planning or estate administration, business transactions, alternative dispute resolution, general negotiations and administrative proceedings.
