COVID19 – Update from Broome County Surrogate’s Court
Message from Judge Guy: As you know, the 6JD issued an updated Surrogate’s Court protocol last Friday. We have updated the informational memo posted on our web site, to address the additional matters we are now handling. We have also promulgated a form, as referenced in the protocol, for consideration of a matter as “urgent”. We will also accept “substantially similar” forms. I am attaching both the memo and the form to this email. The only thing I would add is that Rebecca Malmquist and Tracy Allen are still monitoring their individual court email accounts, as well as the general account referenced in the memo, so they can also be reached directly that way.
We hope that all in or legal community and their families are safe and well. We appreciate your patience and cooperation as we move forward in this very challenging environment.
